Birth Doula Profile

After welcoming her two children lovingly at home, Kaitlyn was inspired to support other families in finding the power and beauty of their birth. 
Through birth, we are able to tap into the wisdom and strength of our foremothers. This strength is what carried Kaitlyn through her own multiple losses, entrusting in herself and her breath.

Kaitlyn is passionate in supporting families through their own pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and infertility journeys. With her formative presence and providing evidence based research, Kaitlyn wants her clients to feel empowered over their own birth experience and decisions.
Homebirth is Kaitlyn’s strength and expertise, with holding two of her own as well as witnessing and supporting many in the Greater Rochester Finger Lakes area. Whether at a hospital, birthing center, or at at home, she wants to create comfort and hold space for families.
Kaitlyn has her M.A. in education, is a local artist and an art therapist; Kaitlyn found pregnancy and birth to be the greatest art form we can create.
As part of her services, she provides: pregnant henna adornment for individuals or blessing ways, birth art therapy, infertility art therapy, placenta art prints, newborn portraiture, and postpartum support and healing.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn is a lover of nature and is often hiking around Rochester with her two kids and pup!
