Birth Doula Profile

I am a birth and postpartum doula. I hold Holistic Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications through The Matrona and I am also Bradley Childbirth educated. I have been passionate about natural, physiological childbirth since the birth of my first son 31 years ago.
I am a calm, steady and encouraging presence to each family I support. I will work with you during pregnancy to answer questions, share resources for education and provide emotional and physical support for both you and your partner throughout your entire labor and delivery.
I truly believe in the natural process of birth and that a woman’s body knows instinctually how to birth. I am a believer in the process of evidence-based birth and trust that each of us hold the knowledge and wisdom within ourselves to birth our baby and make decisions surrounding this transformative time. Sometimes we just need a little reassurance along the way!
