Birth Doula Profile

Jennie’s favorite word is “empowered”. Through birth, lactation, and photography work she strives to help every client feel safe, supported, and confident. She believes that the only right way to birth is the way the feels right to you. Through education and communication, Jennie focuses her doula work on trauma informed, client centered care.

Initially certified through DONA, Jennie has since found passion in working with births after cesarean. After completing the required training, she received her Advanced VBAC Doula certification in 2021 and leads a monthly support group at Beautiful Birth Choices for cesarean and VBAC parents.

Jennie is a member of the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers and offers maternity, birth, fresh 48, newborn, and family photography services.

Jennie is also a certified lactation counselor, trained postpartum doula, and educator.

In her spare time, Jennie loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
